Front Desk
An AI support inbox on your own hardware: triage, answers from your docs, your policies enforced.
- IMAP/SMTP
- Local LLM
- Whop/Polar webhooks

What it does
Front Desk reads your support mailboxes, sorts every message, and answers the ones it can answer well from your documentation, in the customer's language. It knows when to stay quiet: partners, platforms and anything sensitive are held for you, with a short summary.
- Triage that understands context. Support, sales, partnerships, bounces, platform notices and spam, each with its own route.
- Answers from your docs. Replies grounded in your knowledge base, with a rule list of things the agent must never promise.
- Your refund policy, enforced. A guard checks every outgoing reply, so the agent never promises money back unless your policy allows it; refund and chargeback threads are held for you.
- Hands off where it should. Threads with platforms, partners or legal topics are held and summarised for you.
- Clean by design. A do-not-contact list that no code path can bypass, bounce handling and copies in your Sent folder.
Requirements
- IMAP and SMTP access to your mailboxes (Gmail app passwords work).
- An OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
- Optional: Whop or Polar API keys for order lookups.
Good to know
- Start in draft mode: the agent writes replies into Drafts until you trust it.
- It answers people who wrote to you. It does not send cold email.
