Kit licence
When you buy a kit, LightsOut Factory grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it under these conditions.
You may
- install and run the kit on any number of machines owned or controlled by your business;
- modify the code and configuration for your own use;
- use the output of the kit (apps, sites, videos, messages) commercially, subject to the rules of the platforms you publish on and the licences of the models you choose.
You may not
- resell, share, publish or sublicense the kit or substantial parts of its code, modified or not;
- offer the kit, or a service built mainly from it, to others as a product;
- use the kit in breach of the acceptable use policy.
One business per licence
A licence covers one business. Agencies and consultants running a kit for several clients need one licence per client.
Third-party components
Kits use open-source libraries and call third-party services and models. Those keep their own licences, listed in each kit's NOTICE file. Model weights are not part of any kit.
Updates and duration
The licence to use the versions you downloaded does not expire, unless it ends as described below. Updates are provided for twelve months from purchase.
End of the licence
The licence ends if you break these conditions or the payment is reversed. You must then stop using the kit and delete it.
No warranty
Kits are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows. See risks and disclaimer.
